Decided to give this pitch pipe app a try - was happy to pay a dollar after testing out free apps that asked you to click on ads to make alert messages go away (temporarily - with no option to pay to remove ads permanently).
I would give this app 5 stars if:
1) the duration of the tone was reduced to about a second (it currently plays way too long - very obtrusive for performers looking to discreetly grab their pitch before starting the next song). Alternatively, the pitch could loop indefinitely until the note was tapped a second time, turning it off.
2) the ability to play more than one note at a time was eliminated. I don’t know if this was intended as a “feature”, but it’s not helpful. Combined with the extra-long tone duration, things quickly become a sonic mess if you click more than one note (or, click the same note more than once - which causes a weird flange effect).
Otherwise, a great, simple app that does what it says. The quality of the sound is good, and no ads are great.
